Born in Dumbarton before moving across the pond at an early age, David Byrne is a singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, writer, music theorist, and filmmaker. Most famously he was a founding member and the principal songwriter, lead singer and guitarist of Talking Heads – one of the most innovative and influential bands of the late 20th century.
